A DISTINCTION FOR HUGO THIBAUDEAU ROBITAILLE

On March 21, Hugo received a Distinction 2023 – Réseau Environnement award (link only in French). It is the Biodiversity Sector Distinction, one of the 11 prizes awarded at this event. It was presented at Americana the Environmental Forum and International Environmental Technology Exhibition (link only in French).

For the past 15 years, our colleague has been actively involved in advancing society through his expertise in biology and the management of innovative projects. Specifically, at Réseau Environnement, he has been involved in various committees of experts in biodiversity, in addition to having been vice-president of the administrative council for about ten years. He has helped to grow the Biodiversity Sector since its beginning, mainly by participating in the creation of the Program of Excellence for Biodiversity (PEXBD) (link only in french). This program helps municipalities protect biodiversity on their territory.

When asked how he feels about receiving this distinction, Hugo replies:

“It doesn’t change anything, but it’s always nice to be recognized!”

This award warms his heart. It motivates him to continue to share his expertise in his daily work at T2 environnement and with other organizations like Réseau Environnement. His next challenge is to develop a business component in the PEXBD program.
