Action plan for the enhancement of forest ecosystems in the Bois-de-Brouage Park

City of Boucherville – 2016-2017

The mandate was to provide the City of Boucherville with an intervention plan for the Bois-de-Brouage. This site was heavily affected by the ravages caused by the emerald ash borer and by the presence of invasive alien plant species such as buckthorn, wild chervil and purple jewelweed.

T² Environnement thus carried out an inventory of the wet and terrestrial ecosystems present in order to develop an intervention approach to maintain the ecological integrity of the woodland and to develop planting strategies to counter the anticipated impacts of the loss of ash trees and contribute to the maintenance of biodiversity.

T² Environnement also prepared carried out a budget estimate and a work schedule in order to plan the various stages of the project.
