An ecological characterization of four sites totaling more than 200ha was carried out in the Quebec region. The following inventories were carried out: wetlands, water and land, herpetofauna, avifauna, fish and flora (particularly species with a precarious status and invasive exotic plant species).
Numerous meetings were organized with the engineering and architecture teams in order to optimize the quality of the project, reduce environmental impacts and facilitate obtaining ministerial authorizations and permits. T2 was responsible for completing all ministerial authorization request forms associated with the biological components (MHH, status species, habitat, etc.) and contributed to meeting the physical requirements (water and soil quality, landscapes, noise, contamination). A total of four requests for ministerial authorization were submitted to the MELCCFP.
