Hugo Thibaudeau Robitaille
Hugo Thibaudeau Robitaille is an innovative biologist and project manager with 25 years of professional experience working with municipalities, large corporations, NPOs and research institutions. He holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences, which led him to focus on the interactions between soils, vegetation and ecosystems. He has used this interest throughout his career to develop solutions adapted to the ecology of the site. Hugo has always been a consultant and knows how the machinery of government and the laws and regulations related to it work. He likes to innovate and exchange with his peers so that his projects are efficient and above all useful for his clients and the environment. Hugo is an entrepreneur and has created various successful environmental consulting companies. His latest addition is T2 Environnement, which he co-founded with Daniel. His most recent work focuses on the ecological restoration of degraded northern mining sites and wetlands, as well as the evolution of Arctic soils in the context of climate change. Hugo is Vice-President at Réseau Environnement and is in charge of promoting the Biodiversity sector.
Daniel is a versatile biologist with 25 years of experience as an environmental consultant. He began his career as a self-employed worker. He then worked in multidisciplinary teams with major consulting firms for around 15 years. In 2014, he co-founded T² Environnement with Hugo.
Throughout his career, he has carried out projects for a diversified clientele, including Hydro-Québec, ministries, municipalities, engineering firms and individuals, in Canada and abroad. He has participated in a wide range of environmental assessments, characterization of terrestrial and wetland ecosystems, and plans for the conservation, restoration or enhancement of natural environments and biodiversity. Daniel particularly enjoys building, managing and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
This diversity of clients and projects has given Daniel a solid experience in biological environment characterization and project management, which is an asset for his clients. Over the years, Daniel has developed an ability to identify and satisfy the needs of his clients and to find innovative solutions to take into account the specific challenges of each of the projects he works on.
Annie Trudeau is a versatile young biologist. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biological science in 2020 and is currently completing her master’s degree in environmental management. She is writing her essay on the impacts of shipping in marine protected areas. Annie has been passionate about animals since a very young age, but her academic background allowed her to discover a great interest in plants.
During the internships she has completed, Annie has developed her organizational skills and her team spirit. She has exceptional knowledge of the French language, both written and spoken. She is also fluent in English.
Newly arrived at T2 Environnement, Annie is constantly developing her professional skills. She wants to improve her skills in plant identification and to inventory terrestrial and wetland ecosystems, in addition to project management.
Robert Lebrun has 35 years of experience as a wildlife technician. He has also been a geomatician for 18 years. During his career at the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs (MFFP), he acted as coordinator of the organization and the sharing of collected wildlife data from various systems in order to make them usable for the Estrie-Montréal-Montérégie-Laval-Lanaudière-Laurentides Expertise division.
For the MFFP, he also supplied and maintained the Department’s various wildlife databases and prepared cartographic documents in accordance with standards and procedures for data entry, generalization, structure, integration or drafting by using applications, equipment and software packages adapted by the organizations.
In his work, Robert assembles complex and unstructured cartographic data in a compliant digital format to allow information analysis. He also produces figures and maps.
T² also relies on an extensive network of collaborators who can meet the specific needs of each project. These collaborators are leading specialists in fields related to the characterization and management of abiotic, biotic and social components..
Viridis Terra Innovations brings together a multidisciplinary, innovative and experienced team that specializes in activities which focus on the restoration of degraded ecosystems, lands and soils, including mining sites, as well as the implementation and sustainable management of large-scale reforestation, afforestation and forest and agroforest landscape restoration projects.
